HOWEY-in-the-HILLS, Fla. -- Wellesley College senior golfer Kim Eaton moved up in the standings after round two of the 2011 NCAA Women's Golf Championships held at the Mission Inn Resort in Florida.
After a slow start to the tournament, Eaton carded a day-two score of 82 to move up 20 places in the individual standings. Her day one total placed her 76th overall, while after round two, she sits tied for 56th with a 174 (+28).
At the top of the leaderboard, Methodist's Paige Caldwell carded the low round of the day with a solid 76 (+3) and, at +7 for the Championships, leads by 5 strokes over Becky Miller of Williams College and Catherine Wagner of Wisconsin Eau Claire.
The 2011 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships are co-hosted by Oglethorpe University and the Central Florida Sports Commission. Eaton will tee off tomorrow afternoon at 1:20pm for round three of the four-day tournament.
