WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- The Wellesley College golf team completed day one at the Williams Fall Invitational on Saturday. The two-day event is being held at the par-71, 5,819-yard Taconic Golf Club.

Williams College placed four golfers in the top six after one day of hosting the weekend event. Wellesley's top finishers for day one, sophomore Maya Muldowney (Waunakee, WI), and first-years Annika Vandayar (Garnet Valley, PA), and Amy (Zilin) Jin (Shenzhen,China), sit in a crowded field, with 25 golfers separated by six strokes or less.

The second and final round of the Williams Fall Invitational will tee off tomorrow. Wellesley wraps up their fall schedule next weekend, hosting the Ann Batchelder Invitational.
