ORLANDO, Fla. -- Hope College leads the team standings after day one of the 2016 Wellesley College Spring Break Invitational at the 5,813 yard ChampionsGate Golf Club in Orlando, Florida. Carthage College (328) is in second, followed by the host Blue (361) in the three team field.

Hope sophomore Megan Klintworth (Jackson, Michigan) is atop the leaderboard after firing a three over par 75 on day one. Carthage College senior Kayla Meyer (Appleton, Wis.) is in second, just three stroke off of the pace set by Klintworth with a score of 78.

Senior Lei Wei (Brentwood, Calif.) fired an 85 to lead Wellesley on day one. Wei is currently in ninth place in the individual standings. Sophomore Maya Muldowney (Waunakee, Wis.) added a score of 90 for the Blue, while first year Amy (Zilin) Jin (Shenzhen, China) shot 92 and sophomore Kathleena Inchoco (Fairfield, Conn.) recorded a score of 94.
