TROY, N.Y. -- Wellesley College golf first year
Jessica Li (Temecula, Calif.) has received the Liberty League Women's Golf Rookie of the Week honor for the week ending on October 5. This Li's second Rookie of the Week accolade, having previously been named the week of September 21.
Li was the top performer for the Blue at the Polar Bear Shootout this past weekend. The first-year finished two strokes under par with a 174 (70-74) with eight birdies over the two days and tied for sixth out of 86 competitors.
Wellesley has concluded play for the fall season, with Spring competition beginning in March, 2026.
A member conference of the NCAA's Division III, The Liberty League has 11 full members and sponsors championships in 27 sports. The member institutions of the league place the highest priority on the overall quality of the educational experience and on the successful completion of its student-athletes' academic programs. The member institutions seek to establish and maintain an environment in which a student-athlete's athletic activities are conducted as an integral part of the educational experience.
