Wellesley Track & Field Releases 2025-26 Schedule

WELLESLEY, Mass. – Wellesley College track & field and head coach Phil Jennings have announced the team's 2025-26 schedule. The Blue will compete at the Suffolk Relays on Saturday, December 6 to begin the indoor season.


Key Dates:

  • Saturday, December 6, 2025: Suffolk Relays at Reggie Lewis Center
  • Sunday, March 1, 2026: New England DIII Indoor Championships at The TRACK at New Balance, Boston, Mass.
  • Saturday, April 18, 2025: Wellesley - Smith - Mount Holyoke Tri-Meet at Butler Stadium
  • Friday-Saturday, April 24-25, 2025: NEWMAC Track & Field Championships at Coast Guard Academy

Coach Jennings' team begins the 2026 calendar year at the Gotham Cup in Staten Island, N.Y. on January 16. The team then heads over to Springfield on January 24 for the Massasoit Classic.

Next up, Wellesley races at Boston University for the John Thomas Terrier Classic (Jan. 30), the Harvard Invitational (Jan. 31) and the David Hemery Valentine Invitational (Feb. 14). Valentine's Day will also see some members of the team at Bowdoin for the Lynn Ruddy Invitational. In late February the Blue will travel to Smith for the annual Peter de Villiers Cup (Feb. 20). 

The 2026 New England DIII Championships at the TRACK at New Balance in Boston, Mass. are being held on March 1. The Tufts Qualifying meet on March 7 marks the end of the indoor regular season. 

Outdoor competition starts on April 4 at the Coast Guard Invitational. Before going to the Friar Invitational at Providence College on April 10.

Wellesley will host Smith and Mount Holyoke College in a tri-meet on April 18 before heading to Coast Guard for the 2025 NEWMAC Track & Field Championships on April 24-25.

The team closes the regular season at the New England DIII Championship (May 1-2) and the NEICAAA Outdoor Championship (May 8-9). The MIT Final Qualifier is on May 14.
