15 from Wellesley Track & Field Receive NEWMAC Academic All-Conference Team Honor

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. – 15 members of the Wellesley College track & field team have been recognized on the 2025 NEWMAC Track & Field Academic All-Conference Team.

Seniors Charlotte Adams (Cincinnati, Ohio), Erin Dickinson (Papillion, Neb.) and Alicia Naranjo-Champion (El Monte, Calif.) lead the way with their third straight honor. Classmates Charlie Barron (Chattanooga, Tenn.) and Aoife Fitzgerald (Paxton, Mass.) both made the team for a second time.

Juniors Simone Beauchamp (Aurora, Colo.), Emily Brydges (Suffield, Conn.), Meg Dugan (Cohasset, Mass.), Sara Maeve Klingensmith (Chapel Hill, N.C.), Dova Koretsky (Pepperell, Mass.), Claire Peng (Chapel Hill, N.C.), Caelan Schretzmayer (Port Jefferson, N.Y.) and Ella Whinney (Madison, Wis.) have all snagged the recognition for a second consecutive year.

Sophomore Perry Huang Kemper (Boise, Idaho) and Maggie Yan (Montvale, N.J.) have each claimed Academic All-Conference status in their first year of eligibility.

Honorees must have met the following criteria: earned a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0 scale or 4.35/5.0 scale after the 2024 fall semester, achieved second year academic status at their institution, and been a member of the varsity team for the entire season.

The New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) consists of 12 highly selective institutions committed to academic excellence: Babson College, Clark University, U.S Coast Guard Academy, Emerson College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Mount Holyoke College, Salve Regina University, Smith College, Springfield College, Wellesley College, Wheaton College, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
