MARLBOROUGH, Mass. -- Wellesley College basketball junior Trinity Barrow (Evans, Ga.) has collected the NEWMAC Women's Basketball Defensive Athlete of the Week honor for the week ending on January 11.

Barrow made a significant defensive impact for the Blue during a 2-0 week. The junior recorded eight steals and 25 rebounds while adding 33 points and 11 assists offensively. Barrow set a career-high in boards in a victory over Regis, pulling down 14, including five offensive. The guard was in peak form in a 76-39 showing against Dean, grabbing six steals with 11 rebounds.

The Blue will make its 2026 NEWMAC debut on Saturday, January 17 at Mount Holyoke College.
