MARLBOROUGH, Mass. – With the conclusion of the last game of the regular season, the NEWMAC has released the 2025 Women's Soccer Championship bracket, which consists of six teams aiming for the title of NEWMAC Champion. The tournament will consist of eight teams that will compete for the crown, which will begin on Tuesday, November 4, with the quarterfinal round.
2025 marks Wellesley's first appearance in the tournament since 2017. Defending NEWMAC champions MIT (10-0-1) secured the top seed in the championship tournament and will host the eighth-seeded Wellesley College (3-5-3) on Tuesday. The Engineers sit at No. 20 in the latest NCAA NPI rankings and are led by Natalie Barnouw's conference-leading 15 goals. Wellesley senior Riley McNair (Cupertino, Calif.) leads the league with seven shutouts.Â
Semifinal matchups will take place on Thursday, November 6. On Saturday, November 8, the winners of each semifinal will compete in the NEWMAC title game.Â
Tickets for NEWMAC championship events can be purchased through the NEWMAC box office. The NEWMAC encourages fans to purchase their mobile tickets in advance of the event to streamline the entry process on game day. Spectators may purchase mobile tickets on site, but no cash option will be available. Ticket prices are $10 for general admission. Children under 12 and NEWMAC students with a valid institutional ID are free and do not need to purchase a mobile ticket. Once a matchup is confirmed following each round of the championship the tickets will become available.
