KANSAS CITY, No. -- United Soccer Coaches (USC) announced the College Team Academic Award winners, including Wellesley College soccer. The honor recognizes collegiate soccer programs for exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2024-25 academic year.

A total of 741 soccer teams (303 men, 438 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2024-25 academic year. Of that total, 168 schools had both their men's and women's programs recognized.

The Blue recorded a team GPA of 3.80. United Soccer Coaches annually celebrates the academic achievements of teams whose student-athletes collectively demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their studies over the course of a full academic year. Programs must hold a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher to qualify for the award. 

The Blue open the 2025 season on Saturday, August 30 when they host Simmons University at 1:00 PM.
