TROY, N.Y. -- Wellesley College golf first year
Jessica Li (Temecula, Calif.) has received the Liberty League Women's Golf Rookie of the Week honor for the week ending on September 21, marking the first career weekly honor for Li.
Li put up a strong 157 (+15 - 77-80) at the Par 71 George Phinney Classic in Middlebury, Vt. over the weekend. The first-year tied for fourth out of 68 total competitors.
Up next, the Blue will compete at the Williams Invitational at the Taconic G.C. on September 27-28.
A member conference of the NCAA's Division III, The Liberty League has 11 full members and sponsors championships in 27 sports. The member institutions of the league place the highest priority on the overall quality of the educational experience and on the successful completion of its student-athletes' academic programs.
