MARLBOROUGH, Mass. -- Wellesley College soccer sophomore goalkeeper
Olivia Lore (Blue Bell, Pa.) has been named the NEWMAC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending on September 13, 2026.
Lore was perfect with 12 saves, zero goals allowed and two shutout wins for the Blue this past week. The sophomore netminder stopped 10 shots on goal in a 1-0 win versus UMass Boston on Wednesday. On Saturday, Lore saved two shots to earn a fourth shutout of the young season against Maine Maritime Academy. Lore ranks second in the NEWMAC in goals against average this fall.
